The Umfuli River, officially renamed the Mupfure River in 1983, is a major river in north-central Zimbabwe.
It serves as a vital tributary within the Zambezi River Basin, eventually merging with the Munyati River (formerly Umniati).
Below this confluence, the combined waters are known as the Sanyati River, which empties directly into Lake Kariba.
Umfuli is a river in Zimbabwe, Mashonaland West Province, near Mutual. Mupfure has a length of 19.49 kilometres.
The river has its source in Mashonaland East province and it crosses into Mashonaland West province. It joins Sanyati River which flows northwards and drains into the Zambezi River.
